Integrated security solutions manufacturer TDSi is proud to announce it enjoyed a significant increase in visitors to its stand at Intersec Dubai 2015 last week. Feedback results also show that a showcase of the company’s integrated software systems garnered attention from visitors not only across the Middle East but also South and Central Asia reflecting the truly international flavour of the event.
Alan Hardy, Export Sales Director of TDSi commented, “Intersec Dubai is the first major security event of the year and a good milestone as to the state of the market and the demands for the coming year. We were delighted to see an almost one-fifth increase in visitors to our stand this year, which was also reflected in the number of substantial business opportunities we gained. It was also interesting to welcome and talk to visitors not only from across the UAE and the Middle East region but also further afield, including Africa and Central Asian states along with Korea, India and Pakistan.”
Intersec Dubai is also a good indication of market interest and trends, as Sarah Phillips, TDSi’s Product and Marketing Manager added, “We found that visitors to our stand were very keen to learn more about the integration capabilities of our products, with a huge demand for systems that can communicate simply and effectively with CCTV and intruder systems. Visitors were also very keen to talk about specific projects and how our solutions can address the needs of those, whilst being highly scalable for future development. As a high-end provider of security solutions, TDSi is always very keen to speak to clients about their specific needs and to illustrate exactly how we can help with individual requirements.”
In anticipation of the interest in its integrated software solutions, TDSi showcased its powerful EXgarde access control software in conjunction with the VUgarde CCTV video management software. Working together the products offer a wide range of options with regards to the integration and co-operation. This ranges from passive monitoring and proactive security systems (such as access control) to managing all the security requirements of any organisation. EXgarde also integrates with other third party solutions including the ASSA ABLOY®’s Aperio wireless locks,Milestone®’s video management software, Texecom®’s intruder panels and Microsoft Active Directory.
Intersec Dubai 2015 also offered visitors a peek at TDSi’s new reader designs. These new products have been developed with operators, users and installers in mind. Along with technical developments, the aesthetics of the readers have also been revised to ensure they are not only in balance with their surroundings, but continue to be simple to locate and use. As with TDSi’s integrated software solutions (and the rest of its range of products) compatibility has been at the heart of improvements and the readers are designed to work with a large percentage of security systems from other manufacturers and suppliers, as well as TDSi’s own. This is to ensure real flexibility and a minimum wastage of existing security assets.
Alan Hardy concluded, “Intersec Dubai this year has reinforced our belief that truly integrated security systems are at the heart of what the market wants and that simply selling hardware is not enough. Customers want highly flexible security solutions which address their specific needs. We look forward to continuing to meet more of our customers and partners throughout 2015 and returning to Dubai next year.”
