The International CES AsiaTM today announced that Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group for Intel Corporation, will deliver a keynote address at the 2015 International CES Asia..Produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® and co-produced by INTEX, CES Asia will feature top technology companies from around the world and will run May 25-27 in Shanghai, China, drawing global businesses to showcase the latest products and technologies entering the Asian marketplace.
Skaugen’s keynote address will take place at 10:30 AM, May 25, at the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3. He will showcase a number of technology advancements and initiatives that focus on improving and revolutionizing the computing experience. He’ll also highlight innovative solutions across a range of industries for a smarter and more connected world. Keynote addresses are complimentary for all CES Asia attendees, and only a CES Asia badge is required for entry.

Skaugen leads Intel’s efforts in transforming personal computing through the evolution of new form factors and new user experiences including real-world applications that will usher computing into a 3-D world, and also free the experience from wires and passwords. Skaugen manages the consumer and business client segments which includes the Intel® Atom™, Intel® Core™, Pentium® and Celeron™ family of processors and related chipsets, wired and wireless client Ethernet, Thunderbolt™ and home gateways.
Skaugen joins Audi’s Rupert Stadler as a confirmed CES Asia keynote speaker. Stadler, chairman of the board of management at AUDI AG will deliver the preshow keynote address at the 2015 International CES Asia at 5 PM Sunday, May 24 in the Jumeirah Hotel, DaGuan Theatre. Additional keynotes and conference sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.
Initially 20,000 gross square meters (8,500 net square meters), the CES Asia show floor has recently expanded by nearly 10 percent and will house an estimated 250 exhibitors that currently represent 14 countries. Major global brands are supporting the show through show floor exhibitions and/or private meeting room space to conduct critical business at CES Asia.
