Mobile customers with OCBC Bank can now view their bank balance on their smartphones with a touch of the finger. This includes access to their bank accounts, cards and investment details. Japan’ Takenaka nabs $323M Changi Airport terminal 1 expansion contract

Singapore’s Changi Airport Group (CAG) has awarded a $323 million contract for the expansion works of the airport’s terminal 1 to Japan’s Takenaka Corporation. The contract has been awarded to the company following a competitive tender and will involve the replacement of existing check-in counters and the installation of two new check-in rows to increase passenger handling capacity. New Singtel-FireEye cybersecurity center launched in Singapore

A new cybersecurity operations center to serve the Asia Pacific region was launched on Wednesday. Run by telco Singtel and US-based cybersecurity firm FireEye, the Advanced Security Operations Centre (ASOC) is sited at Singtel’s Comcentre along Exeter Road. Both firms previously announced they would invest $50 million over five years into developing centers in Singapore and Australia.
